From our earliest days as young Christians our special emphasis is on love. We are taught to love God with all our heart, love our neighbor, and love our enemy. We feel convicted if we do not love someone the way we think we should, and we ask God to give us a love for that brother or sister. How wonderful when the Lord responds to our prayer and we are able to love one another with a holy love.

Yet there is another aspect of love that is often overlooked, and that is hatred. This is a holy hatred. It goes right along with holy love. Yet we do not hear a lot about this holy hatred. We are not talking about the kind of hate that causes people to fight and kill one another. We hear the word “hate” and we think of gossip, slander, strife, murder, war, “hate crimes” against individuals and groups, jihads and crusades. There is nothing holy about that, that is sin. But what we have in mind here is a holy hatred that is the result of a holy love.

My own take is that we're caught up in a paradigm: We reject God the Father and have foisted up a faggy, limp-wristed version of the Son. Note the words of the Psalmist: I hate every false way.

"But I thought this was all about Love ...." Once one uses the word "all" then the misunderstanding has set in. The Modern Era has taken love to mean "some feeling of affection" not the true love of, say, a parent for a child. So when we insert "all" big trouble looms.

Even parents get it wrong, smoking pot with their children, turning a blind eye to unacceptable behavior, failing to discipline.

This basic misunderstanding about words makes conversation, and understanding, virtually impossible in this day and age. This, I suspect, is foretold in the Bible: see the story of the Tower of Babel.

A Primer on the History of Islam and the U.S.

If you know the history of the relations between the United States and the Muslim world, you know that the first attack on US interests by Muslims was shortly after we were established as a nation, in the late 1700's. When our merchant ships were no longer under the protection of the British Navy, Muslim pirates in the Mediterranean began to attack US merchant vessels. Jefferson was in favor of a military response. Franklin and (I believe) Adams wanted to negotiate. Franklin and Adams went to London to meet with the Sheik who was in command of the Muslim pirates. They asked why US ships were being attacked, since there had been no actions by the US (a new nation) against any Muslims anywhere. The Sheik replied that they had the right to do this because we were "infidels".

Following that failed attempt at negotiation, Jefferson's position won out and a contingent of the tiny US Navy sailed against the pirates for a time, finally causing them enough pain that they stopped their attacks. Well, we know they didn't stop. They just paused for a while.

It's too bad the current occupant of the Oval Office is so poorly informed about Islam and the proponents of that philosophy. They are, and have been since their inception, militaristic and vendors of terrorism. They have positioned themselves as enemies of not only the United States, but of any socio-political entity that is not Muslim. For us to ignore this fact is suicide.

Maybe that's why the first stanza of the Marine Corps Hymn goes like this:

Washington D.C.- In what reporters are calling an "odd situation," during President Barack Obama's Wednesday news conference, the Commander in Chief answered several questions before they were asked.

“I was going to ask him how his daughters were,” said Susan Shepard, a news correspondent for Conservative News and Reporting. “But after he allowed me to ask a question, I looked over my notes to see my questions. Before I could say anything, he said that Sasha and Malia are fine Susan.”

“I hadn’t even told him my name,” Shepard continued.

According to reports, President Obama answering before questions are asked has been happening for months. In July of 2008, when asked about “the situation in…” Obama replied that the Russians and Georgians would have to come together to find peace.

“This was especially confusing, because Russia invaded Georgia the next month,” said William Yapste, a reporter for Georgia Central News. “Then he talked about South Ossetia and Georgia’s claims on the land. I was amazed that this news was buried the way it was.”

Yapste concluded by saying, “Later in the interview Obama kept talking about the horsemen of the apocalypse in the Bible and the year 2012 and kept winking at me.” -Bugle Examiner

In general, I consider pro-abort liberals as agents of Satan .. but Obama may have a special, higher rank in that corps.

The Toll of Mortal Sin

ALMOST 20 per cent of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people have attempted suicide and almost all saw this as related to their sexual identity and the experiences of being abused and feeling isolated, a report to be published today has found.

The study, Supporting LGBT Lives: A Study of the Mental Health of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People, also found almost one-third of respondents had self-harmed at least once.

To be published today by Minister for Health Mary Harney, the study is the biggest carried out in the Republic into the mental health of gay, lesbian and transgender people.

It clearly shows, according to its authors, “the negative effects of stigmatisation, harassment and discrimination – what is termed ‘minority stress’ – on LGBT people”.

Not sure how they reached this causation theory. More likely we are seeing the Toll of Mortal Sin. I bet dollars to doughnuts that adulterers have elevated rates of suicide, I'll also bet you'll find the same suicide rates in metro San Francisco, CA, USA, thereby nullifying the "stigmatisation" red herring.

What the homosexuals need is love and compassion. Real love. Not phoney liberal love that fiendishly enslaves the homosexual in their own sin. Liberal love only increases the love of the liberal for himself, it is self-reward for how "tolerant" he is. Instead Christian love is needed, it listens, it befriends but it firmly guides people to the holiness that they are themselves capable of. A holiness that they fully deserve.

Always a Good Sign: Homosexuals Mad at Pope

Gay groups and activists have reacted angrily after Pope Benedict XVI said that mankind needed to be saved from a destructive blurring of gender.

Defending God's creation was not limited to saving the environment, he said, but also about protecting man from himself.

It was not "out-of-date metaphysics" to "speak of human nature as 'man' or woman'", he said. It came from the "language of creation, despising which would mean self-destruction for humans".

Gender theories, he said, led to man's "auto-emancipation" from creation and Creator.

The state of Massachusetts, which has been at the forefront of normalizing homosexual relationships in law, has taken a bold new step to allow applicants for drivers licenses to select their gender on official documents.

The decision by Rachel Kaprielian became public when an organization promoting family values obtained a copy of a letter she dispatched to a homosexual lobbying organization.

The letter to Marc Solomon of MassEquality said the state Registry of Motor Vehicles "has amended its policy to enable transgendered individuals to more easily change the gender designation on their licenses and identity cards."

Kaprielian said the new provisions no longer will require applicants to submit medical proof of sex reassignment surgery.

"Under the new policy, the letter said, "an individual who wishes to change the gender marker will submit an updated application together with a Gender Designation Change Form, signed by him or her and a medical provider attesting to the gender that the individual considers himself or herself to be."

The organization that obtained the letter, MassResistance.com, said the decision has "huge implications" for society.

"Essentially, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has decided that for legal purposes of identification, a person's actual sex is meaningless. The gender 'you consider yourself to be' is now officially used. This is madness. But it's now the state policy," the organization said.

"A man using a women's restroom or women's locker room would now show police a legal, official Massachusetts identification that he 'is a woman.' He could get this on the basis of 'the gender he considers himself to be' with the agreement of a 'medical provider,'" the organization said on its website

So, this is stretching things beyond the realm of the practical matter of recipients of gender re-assignment surgery. Bearded male rapists can claim to be women on their drivers licenses.

Ironically, I went to high school with this dizzy liberal, Rachel Kaprelian. She has no business experience, has no skills to bring to the Registry of Motor Vehicles, so she's engaged in the only thing she knows: radical, liberal social engineering.

It is fascinating how government policy is essentially set by memos issued to radical interest groups.
