Okay, Honey, but Where's the Burqa?

Pro-Hezbollah protestors recently took full advantage of their Western, Judeo-Christian democratic freedoms to denounce Israel (and by implication the United States) at the Israeli consulate in New York City.

Fair enough, your country plays footsie with terrorists who want to wipe Israel and the USA off the face of the earth. Israel has responded (finally) to the hundreds of missals launched from your country. You're mad at the "disproportionate" repsonse. (more on this proportionalism issue later)

There's only one problem, where's the internal integrity? the logical conclusion to your ideas? I mean, will you be able to dress like that in Tel Aviv or New York after Hezbollah takes over? Women protesting this issue in Beirut weren't dressed like this!

No problem, I have found suitable dress for you. It is true that as a Westernized, Christian male, I have an eye for the beauty of female form but while you stand on American soil supporting people who vow to destroy it, please wear this burqua in order to satisfy the law of non-contradiction (or is that law just another vestige of western, judeo-christian oppression?). It is a bit short but the color scheme has a certain je ne sais quoi that really turns me on.

Ha-ha, I get it. Sarcasm, right?
That's great.
Well, I'm certainly NOT pro-Hezbollah; and I certainly DO thank Heaven for Western, Judeo-Christian freedoms!

And the 33 years of legalized abortion which they have afforded.

Abortion was going strong in Nazi Germany and Communist Russia long before 33 years ago. Judeo-Christian freedoms did not afford abortion. Judeo-Christian freedom was surpressed in order to afford abortion. You, Lee, have it backward.

The United States was founded on the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. First is life.

That would be because they were Nazi Germany and Communist Russia.
Not the good old U.S. of A.

"Judeo-Christian freedom was surpressed in order to afford abortion."

Who suppressed it? A foreign and alien power completely unconneted with the government which is MAINTAINED by freely ELECTED representatives of its citizens?
Or was it that said government itself?
Who suppressed it?

Good question, Lee.

I don't recall hearing any vote around 1973 and there was no invasion. The USA was a land living under a Constitution which not only granted Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness but allotted that any powers not reserved to the Congress was reserved to the States.

Abortion was legal in some states, illegal in most others.

Nine men in black robes, similar to Italian Black Shirts, decided otherwise.

I don't call any voting for these black robed demons. Do you? There is no right to murder babies in the Constitution and that was the way it was for 200 years.

Right.
Read my comments on this matter under your illegal alien post.

The first and original fault with this system of government, is that it is founded on the supposition that man unaided by supernatural grace is capable of ruling himself.
Man in a state of grace must still be ruled (even if by only the Church); man without grace must definitely be so.
It's one of the effects of the Fall.
The Republic is liable to cave-in under the weight of it's own self-aggrandizement.
And as far as 'liberties' are concerned, well, I refer you to St. Thomas concerning the meaning of the term liberty, and what it is in reality (that is, as the Church sees it).
The liberty so trumpeted in this republic is nothing more than the liberty of concupiscence.
A recipe for eventual decay and disaster when posited as the basis of a system of good government.

So why are you complaining about the protesters?
They are merely the filii huius saeculi.

Just pointing out a little irony.
