LONDON, Sep 12 (SW) - Arsenal striker Thierry Henry will not play against Hamburg in the Champions League on Wednesday after suffering a foot injury while on France duty.
According to the club, Henry picked up in the knock during France's 3-1 Euro 2008 qualifying win over Italy last week although Henry did play in Arsenal's 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough at the weekend.
Manager Arsene Wenger is expected to field Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie in attack, with both Theo Walcott and Julio Baptista coming off the bench if necessary when they travel to the AOL-Arena.
Wenger expects Henry to be fit for Arsenal's Premiership showdown away to leaders Manchester United on Sunday.
Good decision, I don't give a crap about Euro 2008. Besides, Theirry Henry is on my fantasy team and I need him fresh. Three of my other players were injured last week and I got hammered pretty hard.
